We are pleased to announce that our newly refurbished events room is now available to book!
Tastefully decorated and with enough standing room to accommodate 40 guests, our events room is perfect for a post-ceremony celebration or champagne reception.
Available to book alongside all of our drinks or canape packages, we are able to cater for a number of requirements.
Features include:
- a fully staffed bar, offering a variety of drinks including wines, beers, and several soft drinks and non-alcoholic alternatives
- feature walls that make the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos
- tables for drinking and mingling
- seats and sofas for those unable to stand for long periods
Our paid bar
Our paid bar in Civic Hall will be available for all ceremonies that day - with no need to book!
If you prefer a private experience, our newly refurbished events room can be booked out per hour, inclusive of the use of a staffed paid bar. We are happy to run the private bar as you wish, including as paid for by your guests, or with a tab, or with a capped amount set in advance.
Drinks packages
We are pleased to offer a number of drinks packages available for your marriage or civil partnership reception. We can offer access to our paid bar, a private room to rent, or a bespoke champagne reception after your ceremony.
The use of our new refurbished events room is also available to hire for a private drinks reception.
A paid bar will be available for further drinks.
The events room can be extended for a charge of £50 per hour - please speak to a member of staff at the time of your booking for availability.
Package 1: Champagne reception
Drinks package and one hour room hire.
£10 per guest and a choice of one drink per person:
- Glass of Prosecco
- Bottled Beer
- Fruit Juices
- Elderflower Spritzer
Package 2: Drinks and canapes
A choice of one drink from Package 1 and 4 canapes per person, and one hour room hire.
£20 per guest (minimum of 20 guests)

- Warm Welsh Rarebit Tartlet (v)
- Herbed Blinis with Smoked Salmon and Lemon Crème Fraiche
- Frittata Muffin (v)

- Cheddar Cheese Scone, Crushed Cherry Tomatoes, and Basil Mousses (v)

Package 3: Drinks and finger buffet
A choice of one drink from Package 1, one hour room hire and a finger buffet.
£20 per guest (minimum of 10 guests)
